Nucleus and it's Chromosome.

Nucleus and its Chromosomes:- It is a spherical structure (10 μm in diameter) surrounded by a permeable membrane called nuclear membrane (Envelope).

This is Composed of two unit membranes and shows large pores of 100A Diameter which are closed by a thin homogenous Membrane, therefore the passage of RNA can take place through these pores.

Space between two folds is 300 A and is called perinuclear space.

It is made up of chromosomes(each chromosome is made up of supporting protein plus giant molecules of DNA) on which gene is present.

Cell division takes parts with chromosomes.

Dark material is present in thread-like material called chromatin.

Chromosomes play role in sex determination.

Nucleolus:- It Contains Nucleolus in the site of Ribosomes synthesis also involved in cellular activities, cell Reproduction, etc.

Nuclear Membrane:- Nuclear Membrane Protects the nucleus of cell organelles.

Diagram:-

Functions of Nuclear :

A). DNA acts as a synthesis of RNA which Regulates the synthesis of proteins by the cells.

B). Gene are units of hereditary characteristics.

C). It plays in cellular reproduction and multiplication, cell division, etc.
