Blood Group:- Blood groups are complex chemical systems found on the surface of blood cell. The two main blood groups in transfusion are the ABO system type

RH(D) Type 

Within ABO system, people can be one of four group

(I).     A

(II).    B

(III).  O

(IV).  AB

While in the RH system the can be either RH+ or RH-.

Antibodies in plasma    Antigens in blood cell 

Group A       ---          Anti-B                      A antigen

Group B       ---          Anti-A                     B antigen

Group AB    ---          None                        A and B antigen

Group O      ---          Anti A and B             None 

Use of Blood grouping test:- Blood Grouping test.

(I).  Blood Transfusion.

(II). RH Incompatibility.

(III) Blood group antigen helps recognization.
